More offensive line depth is on the way for the Syracuse Orange… and sooner than they may have thought. Vito Shevchenko, a Vancouver native who has been playing high school football in Florida, will join SU this fall after reclassifying from the Class of 2025:

The 6’7”, 290 lbs. prospect is newer to the sport, only playing competitively for the past two years, but he fits the mold of big & tall that Fran Brown and OL coach Dale Williams have been pursuing. He also had offers from Maryland, FAU, and FIU.
Shevchenko is the 24th member of SU’s Class of 2024. Here’s a glimpse of his blocking abilities:
