J.J. Watt Was Asked If He’d Come Out Of Retirement This Week

At the end of the 2022 regular season, J.J. Watt announced his retirement from the NFL. When the time comes, he’ll undoubtedly be a first-ballot Hall of Famer.

Even though Watt seems happy in retirement, that won’t stop fans from asking if he’d return to the gridiron.

In fact, Watt was asked by a Bills fans if he’d consider signing with Buffalo for the 2023 season. He kindly answered that question on Friday.

“No thank you,” Watt tweeted. “But I’d love to have a beer with Bills Mafia. Seems like legitimately one of the best fan bases in the entire world”

No thank you.

But I’d love to have a beer with Bills Mafia.

Seems like legitimately one of the best fan bases in the entire world. https://t.co/4vqQLROGWw

Watt proved last season that he still has gas left in the tank, racking up 39 tackles, 25 quarterback hits, 12.5 sacks and a forced fumble for the Cardinals.

While it would be fun to watch Watt team up with Von Miller in Buffalo, it’s pretty evident that won’t happen.

Honestly, it seems like Watt – at this point in time – is more likely to end up on TV than return to the NFL.
