Roster Announced for U.S. Men’s Olympic Orientation Camp

USA Hockey announced on Tuesday that 44 players have been invited to the U.S. Men’s Olympic Orientation Camp. The camp will take place from August 26-27 in Michigan.

The camp is in preparation for the 2026 Winter Olympics. It will be the first time the NHL has participated in the Winter Olympics since 2014.

Invited Players

24 NHL teams will be presented at the orientation camp.

Joey Daccord – Seattle Kraken

Connor Hellebuyck – Winnipeg Jets

Jake Oettinger – Dallas Stars

Jeremy Swayman – Boston Bruins

Forwards

Matt Boldy – Minnesota Wild

Cole Caufield – Montreal Canadiens

Logan Cooley – Utah Mammoth

Kyle Connor – Winnipeg Jets

Jack Eichel – Vegas Golden Knights

Conor Garland – Vancouver Canucks

Jake Guentzel – Tampa Bay Lightning

Jack Hughes – New Jersey Devils

Patrick Kane – Detroit Red Wings

Clayton Keller – Utah Mammoth

Matthew Knies – Toronto Maple Leafs

Chris Kreider – Anaheim Ducks

Six of these players have already been named to the roster: Matthews, Eichel, Brady Tkachuk, Matthew Tkachuk, Quinn Hughes, and McAvoy.

Olympic Picture Taking Shape

Canada has already hosted an orientation camp for their team.

Given the talent on both rosters, we could be looking at the latest chapter in the United States-Canada rivalry.
