It’s the time of year where football fans start to miss football.
The mid-July stretch of the year is perhaps the driest for such diehards; spring camps have been long gone, the NFL Draft and rookie mini-camps elapsed weeks ago, and the crisp chill of the fall air is nowhere in sight. Fans can’t even take reprieve in the UFL; that season ended ignominiously in late June.
This doesn’t mean the football coverage stops, however. With the Mid-American Conference Media Day set for July 19th in Canton, Ohio, the speculation and excitement is only getting started in MAC country.
