TNT… dynamite.
After a thrilling comeback against The Golden Eagles in the quarterfinals of The Basketball Tournament, Boeheim’s Army is back in action (AAU style) to take on Florida TNT in the semifinals.
The Army has won four straight games and needs just two wins to secure the TBT Championship and the $1mm prize. To do that, they’ll first have to go through Florida TNT for a shot at the title game.
Florida TNT won the Wichita Region, taking down Kimchi Express, the L.A. Cheaters, Eberlein Drive and the Aftershocks in succession. Florida TNT is led by former Florida star Kenny Boynton, Christopher Warren and USF’s Domique Jones. Boynton played against Syracuse twice in his college career, scoring 42 points but losing both times. Jones was 1-3 all-time against SU, which includes a 29-point effort in a 2008 victory.
