ACC Championship play begins tonight
As the Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team prepares for their ACC quarterfinal game against the Stanford Cardinal tonight, six players were named to the 2025 All-ACC teams.
Boston College and North Carolina combined for 11 of the 16 players named to the All-ACC First Team, but Emma Muchnick was one of three midfielders to make the squad. Muchnick leads the Orange with 30 goals on the season and this is her first All-ACC selection.
Syracuse’s leader in points, Emma Ward, was named to the All-ACC Second Team for the second-straight season. Four Syracuse players were named to the All-ACC Third Team: defenders Kaci Benoit and Coco Vandiver, goalie Danny Guyette, and attacker Caroline Trinkaus,
