
The two Northeast rivals will meet again in the ACC Tournament
The Syracuse Orange (12-17, 6-12) ended the regular season with a convincing 82-57 home win over the Boston College Eagles (15-16, 6-12) on Sunday.
Georgia Woolley led the way with 19 points and six assists as Syracuse celebrated Senior Day in style in front of the home crowd. The Orange jumped out to a 45-20 halftime lead and coasted the second half.

It was a strong team effort from Syracuse. Sophie Burrows had 16 points and 8 rebounds, Kyra Wood added 14 and 6 while Isabel Varejao contributed 7 points and 9 rebounds on the afternoon.
The Orange defense held BC to 32% shooting from the field and forced 21 turnovers which they turned into 27 points. Syracuse also dominated BC in the paint, enjoying a 50-32 scoring advantage inside the lane.

The win means Syracuse evened the season series with the Eagles and earned the #13 seed in this week’s ACC Tournament. Boston College and Syracuse will face off again in Wednesday’s ACC Tournament opener at 1:00 on the ACC Network.
