
The team is coming off a 3rd place finish at the ACC Championships
For the fifth straight year, the Syracuse Orange women’s rowing squad will be competing at the NCAA Championships.

Syracuse was an at-large selection in the 22-team field. Competition begins on May 31st at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, NJ. Last weekend the Orange took 3rd at the ACC Championships behind Stanford and Virginia. The best result for Syracuse was a 2nd-place finish in the Varsity Four race.
Four Orange rowers were selected to All-ACC teams:
Ellie-Kate Hutchinson – First Team
Aphrodite Gioulekas and senior Zoe Acosta – Second Team
Caileigh Grimes -Third Team.
The Orange will be seeded 17th in the varsity eight race, 12th in the second varsity eight and 3rd in the varsity four. Coverage of the competition will be available on NCAA.com
