Two teams stood out to fans
As we wind down the Syracuse Orange athletic year, we asked you which teams you thought were the best this year. Let’s get to the results.
It wasn’t a runaway win for the women’s rowing squad, but they won the vote with 40% of the responses. The Orange are competing in the NCAA Championships this weekend and hoping to earn another top 10 finish. Following rowing was a close battle between cross-country and field hockey for second.
It was pretty obvious on the men’s side. Fran Brown’s football squad dominated the voting with men’s lacrosse finishing second after their Final Four run. Shout out to the loyal cross-country and rowing fans who stayed loyal.
Overall it wasn’t a great year for the Orange, but there is hope that 25-26 will bring a bit more hardware back to Syracuse. Thanks as always to those who participate.
