The Syracuse Orange men’s lacrosse team plays this afternoon for a trip to the Final Four in Foxboro.
The majority of Orange fans who responded to this survey believe that Gary Gait’s squad will defeat the Princeton Tigers. If that comes true this afternoon, Syracuse would advance to face the winner of Georgetown and Maryland next Saturday in Gillette Stadium. It would be the first trip to the Final Four since 2013 when the Orange lost to Duke in the championship game.
Syracuse got to today’s game with a ridiculous comeback win over Harvard last weekend. It was impressive, but to our voters not as good as the football win over Miami in November. That was a Syracuse win over a top 10 Miami team so it makes sense that it would leave a better impression on Orange fans.
