Will either team make it to Memorial Day?
The Syracuse Orange lacrosse teams are in NCAA action this weekend so our weekly fan survey focused on the lacrosse action.
Despite a loss in the Dome to Harvard earlier this season, the majority of fans expect to see Syracuse survive tomorrow night and move on to the quarterfinal.
The Syracuse women pushed past the Brown Bears 15-9 on Friday evening and now the Orange will face the host Yale Bulldogs tomorrow. Yale defeated Syracuse by a 13-10 score this season, so we’ll see if both Orange teams can avenge defeats and keep advancing.
This weekend can go a long way to determine if the Orange lacrosse programs are still at the level we think they should be, or if there is work to be done. Hopefully next week we’ll be back with questions about the next Syracuse men’s and women’s NCAA Tournament games.
