More non-conference scheduling news.
The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball program has nearly completed its non-conference schedule as 12 of the 13 slots are now filled. The Orange has scheduled the Stonehill Skyhawks for Monday, December 22, per release.
Stonehill finished 15-17 overall and 7-9 in the Northeast Conference a season ago with a NET ranking of No. 312. Chris Kraus enters his 13th year as head coach at Stonehill. The Skyhawks return sophomore guard Herman Koffi.
Syracuse and Stonehill have met just once all-time, a decisive 101-55 victory for Syracuse on February 16, 1976. Jimmy Williams scored 22 points in that game.
Syracuse has just one non-conference opponent remaining before the 2025-26 schedule is finalized. The ACC has moved to an 18-game league schedule starting this season, down from the 20-game league schedule. The full conference schedule, including dates and television networks, is expected to be announced in September.
