Who might be the next visitors to Syracuse?
The Syracuse Orange have had found some success in the transfer portal this spring, but it’s clear that Adrian Autry and staff are still looking for more size and shooting.
Syracuse had hosted Jaret Valencia from Monmouth and was linked with Florida State transfer Jerry Deng, but those players committed to other schools late last week. Valencia is off to Wichita State while Deng stays in the ACC and joins Quadir Copeland at NC State.
So that leaves the Orange looking to fill out some spots in the rotation. Reports have Syracuse linked to two more forwards in the portal: Rashaun Agee from USC and Keitenn Bristow of Tarleton State.
Agee started his career at New Mexico State, then played two years at Bowling Green and last season was a member of the USC Trojans. The 6’8 Agee averaged 9.4 points and 4.5 rebounds in 20 minutes per game for the Trojans. He shot 55% from the field, 39% from 3 and will turn 25 next season, which means he’d add an experienced strong forward to the Syracuse group.
Bristow’s on the opposite end from Agee as he was the 24-25 WAC Rookie of the Year. He averaged 11.3 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while shooting 46% from the field and 32% from 3. He took a visit to Alabama this week, so one would suspect he’s got some intangibles showing up in the analytics reports.

In other transfer news, Chris Bell has landed with the California Golden Bears, so we’ll be seeing him next season. Cal lost Andrej Stojakovic to the portal so this seems like a spot where Bell will get an opportunity to play big minutes.
