Syracuse football: where do the latest mock drafts have the Orange getting selected?

A month away from finding out where the Orange will land

Just like that, this year’s NFL Draft is fast approaching and several members of the Syracuse Orange are hoping to take their game to the next level.

Monday marks exactly one month until the draft begins. A few notable stars from the Orange’s 2024 season appear to be on the inside track to hear their name called, but there’s still plenty of time to move up and down the various mock drafts out there.

From the lens of Syracuse fans, there will be a fair amount at stake in the context of the program’s recent history.

Quarterback Kyle McCord should become Syracuse’s first player drafted at the position since Ryan Nassib in 2013. That year also marks the last time at least three members of the team were taken in the NFL Draft. LeQuint Allen has the chance to be Syracuse’s first running back picked in over a decade (Delone Carter in 2011). It’s also been a decade and a half since any pass catcher from the Orange was selected (Mike Williams in 2010).

With exactly one month go to until the 2025 NFL Draft, here is an updated look at the most up-to-date mocks and player rankings:

Draft Analyst Chad Reuter, NFL.com (four-round mock)

  • 3rd round, pick No. 96: TE Oronde Gadsden II, Los Angeles Rams
  • 4th round, pick No. 103: Edge Fadil Diggs, Tennessee Titans
