Congratulations to the award honorees
The ACC announced their football award winners on Tuesday afternoon. Five Syracuse Orange players were recognized for their 2023 achievements.
LeQuint Allen and Marlowe Wax earned second-team All-ACC honors. Allen carried the ball 225 times for 1,062 yards and 9 touchdowns. He added 36 receptions for 197 yards and a score, was 1-2 passing and returned 3 punts for 82 yards. Wax led the Orange with 101 tackles. He added 10.5 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, 4 forced fumbles and an interception.
The Coffin Corner Cowboy Jack Stonehouse was named the third-team All-ACC punter. Stonehouse kicked 52 times for an average of 46.5 yards per kick with 15 kicks inside the 20-yard line. We assume the voters didn’t see this pre-game fit or else he would have placed higher.

Offensive lineman Chris Bleich and safety Justin Barron were Honorable Mention All-ACC while Allen was selected as Honorable Mention All-Purpose.
Congratulations to these players. We’ll get one more chance to see them in 2023 as we wait for Sunday’s official bowl announcement.
