Another big addition to the o-line
The Syracuse Orange have been super-sizing the offensive line lately and that trend continued with the newest 2026 commitment.
Shemaj Henry, a 6’8” 330 pound tackle from Chester Pennsylvania committed to the Orange last week. Henry is a three-star recruit according to 247 and had offers from Temple and UMass, along with garnering interest from Rutgers and Penn State in recent months.
It does seem like the Orange could be getting in early on a rising prospect as Henry’s stock could rise over the summer as he gets seen more in camps.

Henry also played center on Chester’s basketball team and is certainly an intriguing add with his size on the outside of the line. He is the 15th verbal commit for Syracuse’s 2026 class. The class is ranked 10th nationally and 2nd in the ACC by 247 and 30th nationally and 6th in the ACC by On3. Here’s a look at Henry in action from his junior season.
