Looking to be the 11th former Orange inducted
Syracuse Orange football legend Marvin Harrison is one of 79 FBS players included on the final ballot for the 2026 College Football Hall of Fame class.
The class, which was announced earlier this week, is led by three locks in Cam Newton, Ndamukong Suh, and Aaron Donald. Harrison, who played for Syracuse from 1992-1995, is one of 12 wide receivers on the ballot.
For his Syracuse career, Harrison played 44 games (BRAND!) and ended up with 135 receptions for 2,728 yards and 20 touchdowns. While he only went over 1,000 yards receiving in his senior year, Harrison averaged 20.2 yards per catch for the Orange. He also added 2 punt return touchdowns in 1995 when Syracuse went 9-3 and beat Clemson 41-0 in the Gator Bowl.
The Orange have 10 former players in the CFB HOF: Joe Alexander, Vic Hanson, Ernie Davis, Floyd Little, Larry Csonka, Jim Brown, Tim Green, Don McPherson, Art Monk and Dwight Freeney
The 2026 NFF College Football Hall of Fame Class will be officially inducted during the 68th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas on Dec. 8, and they will be honored at their respective schools with an NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute.
