McCord returns home to start his NFL career
Following a successful 10-win season, the Syracuse Orange football team has one of their top players selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. Quarterback Kyle McCord was selected by the Super Bowl Champions Philadelphia Eagles with the 5th pick of the 6th round.
McCord becomes the 1st Syracuse quarterback to be drafted since Ryan Nassib was selected in the 4th round by the New York Giants in 2013.
