The Syracuse Orange are coming off a 10-win season in 2024, but the combination of player departures and a daunting schedule have oddsmakers feeling less enthused about Fran Brown’s second season.
Circa Sports released updated over/under totals for the P4 and they aren’t feeling the Orange as a bowl team in 2025. Syracuse checks in at 5.5 wins tied with Boston College and Cal and ahead of only Wake Forest and Stanford.

These odds would indicate a Clemson-Miami ACC title game looms. Circa seems skeptical that Florida State can really rebound, but they are showing faith in Virginia and Duke and not the Orange or BC.
What do you think of Syracuse’s 5.5 total? I’m a little surprised it’s not set at 6 or 6.5 to get more variety in the action. It sure feels like most Orange fans will take the over here, but do you think Fran Brown gets his squad back to bowl eligibility next Fall?
