An 85 overall leads the way for Syracuse
EA College Football 26 is now out on early access for those who pre-ordered the deluxe edition. That means it’s time for another round to player with your favorite Syracuse Orange players on the virtual gridiron. 10 players on this year’s Syracuse squad crack an 80 rating on this year’s initial roster.
Devin Grant leads the way among all Orange players with an 85 rating. That’s five points up from his starting rating last season. Dan Villari is the highest rated offensive player at an 83. That’s two points up from his starting rating last season.

Of note, the highest-rated Orange player last season was Oronde Gadsden with a 91. Justin Barron at an 89 and Marlowe Wax at an 88 were higher rated than anyone else on this season’s roster. Grant’s 85 rating would tie him for the fourth highest on last year’s team.
Naturally, you’re probably wondering where the quarterbacks fit in on this list. Steve Angeli technically just cracks the top players for Syracuse as he’s also rated at a 79. Rickie Collins checks in not far behind at a 77.
Of the positions that aren’t listed, Dion Wilson Jr. is the top defensive tackle at a 79. True freshman Demetres Samuel Jr. is tied with Davien Kerr for the top rated corner at a 78. Despite still battling for a voucher, Jackson Kennedy is the top kicker at a 74.
The Syracuse football season will kick off August 31 in Atlanta with a game against Tennessee. If you’ve got the deluxe version of EA College Football 26, you’ll get the first chance to lead Syracuse to another successful season. The full game releases to the public on Thursday, July 10.
