A NorthStar will move to the south side of Syracuse in 2025.
Another local product is staying home to play in the Dome.
Three weeks after receiving a Syracuse Orange scholarship offer, Cicero-North Syracuse Class of 2025 OL Kardiear Shepherd announced his commitment:

Shepherd is the first Cicero-North recruit to remain in Syracuse under Head Coach Fran Brown and the third local prospect overall, joining Darien Williams and Matthew Hawn of Christian Brothers’ Academy.
At 6’7”, 300 lbs., Shepherd adds even more size to an OL group that includes Top-100 prospect Bryon Washington. Brown’s staff nabbed him very early in his recruiting window, as SU was his second offer following one from the University of Buffalo earlier in March.
Here’s a look at Shepherd’s junior year with the NorthStars:
Syracuse now has 13 commitments in the Class of 2025, and according to 247Sports, it is currently the Number 10 recruiting class in Division 1 football. On3 meanwhile has this group at 32nd in the country.
