Quietly one of the biggest x-factor players for next season.

It’s time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.

Up next is…

Name: Jadyn Oh

Position: Kicker

Year: Redshirt Sophomore

Height: 6’1”

Weight: 173 lbs.

Hometown: Chantilly, VA

High School/Previous College: Chantilly

2024 stats: Went 2/5 (0/3 from 40-49 yards) on field goals and 11/11 on extra points. Made his collegiate debut versus Holy Cross. Longest field goal (32 yards) was against NC State.

2025 projections: As things currently stand, the kicker spot remains a wide open race depending on what happens with Jackson Kennedy and his eligibility appeal. If Kennedy’s appeal is denied, that would leave Oh and Iowa transfer Tripp Woody as the two candidates likely competing for the starting role. Oh showed promise on extra points and short-range field goals, but whether he can improve the accuracy from 35+ yards out is the biggest question entering 2025.

How’d he get here?: Committed to Syracuse in July 2023. Did have offers from Fairmont State and Virginia Military Institute. Took a redshirt year during the 2023 season. Served as Syracuse’s main kicker for four games in 2024.

What’d recruiting sites say?: N/A. Ranked No. 90 overall and 4.5 stars in a 2023 Kohl’s camp.

Winners Get Washed: Every Man Jack — Oh embodies Every Man Jack’s motto of “delivering exceptional performance.” He certainly did so after exceptionally knocking down all his PAT attempts in 2024 and briefly providing some life to an otherwise up-and-down kicking unit this past season.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Oh is part of an interesting list of Chantilly alumni that includes Napster founder Sean Parker and U.S. Olympian Mike Kohn.
