Position: Defensive Line
Year: Redshirt Junior
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 294 lbs.
Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
High School/Previous College: Clearwater Academy International/Alabama
2024 stats: Appeared in all 13 games, making two starts. Recorded four total tackles.
2025 projections: Hastings could see a handful of starting reps, but will likely to remain a reserve in his second year with the Orange. He’d certainly be the “next man up” in the event of injuries to the starters on the interior d-line.
How’d he get here?: Initially committed to Missouri but later flipped to Syracuse in the transfer portal back in Jan. 2024.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Four stars across the board out of high school, three stars as a transfer.
Winners Get Washed: Every Man Jack Body Wash — Crimson Oak — Bringing that experience from the Crimson Tide up north to battle in the trenches on the defensive front.
