It’s time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.

Position: Offensive line
Year: Freshman
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 290 lbs.
Hometown: Pawling, NY
High School/Previous College: Trinity-Pawling
2024 stats: Spent the last two seasons at Trinity-Pawling playing all over the offensive line.
2025 projections: Iak will likely handle scout team duties in his first year with the Orange.
How’d he get here?: Joined the Orange this spring as a preferred walk-on. Also had a PWO offer from SMU.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Trinity-Pawling is the alma mater for a famous Syracuse walk-on- Braedon Bayer who helped the Orange close out a NCAA win over Michigan State in 2018.
