Up next is…
Name: DeAngelo Thompson
Position: Defensive line
Year: Freshman

Weight: 215 lbs.
Hometown: Miami, FL
High School/Previous College: Miami Northwestern
2024 stats: Redshirt season According to MaxPreps, Thompson had 10 sacks in just six games last season for Teddy Bridgewater’s squad.
2025 projections: Thompson comes from an outstanding program but he’ll likely start off as a pass-rush specialist or time on special teams. He’s certainly a player to watch for as the Orange will be losing a lot on the defensive line after next season.
How’d he get here?: Had offers from Tulane, FAU, FIU, and Troy among others.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars from everyone but Rivals, which gave him two.
Winners Get Washed: Papatui’s Refreshing Body Wash a defensive lineman from Miami matches up well with the Rock’s line of skin care products.
Interesting nugget o’interest: Miami Northwestern has produced a bunch of NFL players and it’s also the alma mater of legendary rapper Trick Daddy
