2023 stats: Reed started every game at center for the Orange in 2023. He made his first career FBS start last year against Colgate, and finished the season as SU’s highest rated pass blocker according to Pro Football Focus – ‘Big General’ allowed just one sack for the 815 offensive snaps he saw the field.
2024 projections: Reed will likely maintain his hold at the center position again this season, after a successful 2023 campaign.
How’d he get here?: Reed began his college football career at Hutchinson University (JUCO), where he helped his team to an 11-2 record and an NJCAA National Championship Game appearance in 2022. The same season he was named an NJCAA Second-Team All American.
What’d recruiting sites say?: The big guy rated as a three star recruit on On3, 247Sports and ESPN, however, Rivals.com had Reed as a two star.
