Your starting long snapper returns!
Name: Aaron Bolinsky
Position: Long Snapper
Weight: 216 lbs.
Hometown: Frackville, Pa.
High School: North Schuylkill
2020 stats: Just another banner year for Bolinsky, who once again snapped to some of the country’s top special-teamers, Andre Szmyt and (All-American) Nolan Cooney. It was the third straight season Bolinsky has snapped to an All-American.
2021 projections: More of the same. Bolinsky’s great, and Syracuse special teams is also pretty great as a result.
How’d he get here?: He came aboard as a preferred walk-on back in 2018.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Nothing, for reasons unknown given the work he’s put in with the Syracuse Orange.
Money Quote: Bolinsky should give speeches to new special teams players when they get to campus.
“Special teams is a very vital part of the game of football. You come down to the very end of the game, you’re down by one or two points, you need a good snap to make that field goal. If you don’t, chances are you may lose the game. I feel that being a long snapper is a great way to see the field.”

Tweet of wonder: LONG. SNAPPING. VIDEO.
That’s Aaron Bolinsky long snapping. Played in lieu of Matt Keller, after Keller got hurt at Clemson, last season. It’s his job to lose this fall. pic.twitter.com/UBpTc0aHo2

What movie would Dino recommend for him?: Everyone knows Aaron Paul for his work as Jesse in Breaking Bad, but he’s done plenty of other things. Among them, Need For Speed, which stars Paul as Tobey Marshall — a mechanic framed for a crime he didn’t commit.
Interesting nugget o’interest: Perhaps you remember the “bottle cap challenge” that occurred on the internet around 17 lifetimes ago? Well, Bolinsky was pretty good at it.
Let’s get a look at ya: Here’s the sort of video that got Aaron a look from Syracuse and potentially some other schools as well.
