The PWO is a record setting runner from Virginia.
Name: Devin Flowers
Position: Running Back
Weight: 245 lbs.
Hometown: Glen Allen, Va.
High School: Glen Allen
2019 stats: At Glen Allen, Flowers set records for a running back in Richmond, Virginia. His over 5,500 rushing yards set the Richmond area career rushing record, per Stephen Bailey of Syracuse.com. He tallied 63 touchdowns over his career as well.
2020 projections: Similarly to the rest of the walkons, he’s a likely redshirt for the Orange.
How’d he get here?: The walkon was recruited by Reno Ferri, and was in the Dome for the Orange victory over N.C. State. He decided between a PWO option for the Orange and Florida State, so it’s nice that he’s heading north.
What’d recruiting sites say?: No ratings to speak of.
Money quote: In the piece with Bailey, Flowers mentioned the following regarding Coach Babers that helped in his recruitment.
“I just remembered how pumped Coach Babers was and how he really can get to the team,” Flowers said. “You can easily tell how great of a coach he is and a person.”

Tweets of wonder: Not an avid tweeter (smart man), but he did get some acknowledgement from Macho Harris of Virginia Tech, who’s record he broke.
What movie would Dino recommend for him?: The 1997 continuation of the classic Alien movie franchise, Alien: Ressurection starred Kim Flowers in the role of Hilliard. Hilliard was the pilot on the ship that suffers a xenomorph outbreak and is central to the film. With Ron Perlman, Wynonna Ryder and the return of Sigourney Weaver as Ripley, it’s not the greatest of the Alien films, but it’s not bad.
Interesting nugget o’interest: Glen Allen, VA is also home to former DC United and current Sint-Truiden midfielder Chris Durkin. Some solid athletic talent coming out of that school recently.
Let’s get a look at ya: Hudl highlights, because Hudl highlights.
