2024 stats (Iowa): Played 11 games as Syracuse’s fullback last year
2025 projections: Fran Brown and Jeff Nixon turn to Runyon as the Orange fullback in jumbo package situations. That means Runyon will only see the field as a blocker in short yardage or goal line plays. He’s still been very effective in those areas, so expect Runyon to still appear in that role.
How’d he get here?: Transferred from Lafayette in 2023. Was targeted by Ivy League and Patriot League schools out of high school.
