Meet a player that might be getting overlooked right now
It’s time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Jaden Hart
Position: Running Back
Year: Redshirt Freshman Sophomore
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 203 lbs
Hometown: Michigan City, Indiana
High School: Michigan City
2024 stats: Appeared in eight games last season. Carried the ball three times and gained 18 yards. Had two receptions.
2025 projections: Hart will head into camp battling Yasin Willis and Will Nixon for carries. While most expect Willis to be the lead back, there is a good chance that Hart can work is way into a share of the work out of the backfield.
How’d he get here?: Had a strong list of offers, but chose the Orange over schools such as Duke, Kentucky, Purdue, Nebraska and Iowa State
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars all around. Considered to be a top 75 running back in his class.

Winners Get Washed: Rose Dunes by Molton Brown– Michigan City is close to Indiana Dunes National Park, so “recreate the mysterious beauty of the desert in your bathroom”
Interesting nugget: Michigan City is located along Lake Michigan and as a result deals with lake-effect snow, but with an average annual snowfall of 47 inches, it’s not even close to a Syracuse winter
