Next up in the linebacker room
It’s time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Zyian Moultrie-Goddard
Position: Linebacker
Year: Redshirt Sophomore
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 234 lbs.
Hometown: Bronx, NY
High School/Previous College: Iona Prep
2024 stats: Played 12 games, mainly on special teams. Made five total tackles.
2025 projections: Syracuse might have a “Mini Marlowe” developing. The players and coaches love his potential. With the departures in the linebackers room, Moultrie-Goddard has the potential to break into the starting rotation.
How’d he get here?: Syracuse was Moultrie-Goddard’s first Division I offer. The Orange held on after offers from other Power Five schools like Arizona State, Tennessee and West Virginia.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Three stars from On3, 247Sports, and ESPN. A consensus top-16 player in the state.
Winners Get Washed: AXE Excite Body Wash – Many are excited about what Moultrie-Goddard can bring to the gridiron.
