The next Oronde?
It’s time to start preparing for the 2025 Syracuse Orange football season. We’re going through the roster to take a look at each Syracuse player as we get to know a lot of new faces for Year 2 of the Fran Brown Era.
Up next is…
Name: Jamie Tremble
Position: Tight End
Year: Sophomore
Height: 6’4”
Hometown: Johns Creek, GA
High School/Previous College: Wesleyan School
2024 stats: Played 12 games, mainly on special teams. Made one catch for 19 yards against Holy Cross
2025 projections: With the rise of receiving-focused tight ends, Tremble’s skill set makes him an attractive option to replace Oronde Gadsden’s production. He doesn’t have the size or experience of Dan Villari yet, so Tremble will most likely still be a backup tight end. But Syracuse seems very high on his potential.
How’d he get here?: Syracuse beat out many Power Five schools for Tremble. Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt had offers out for the tight end.
What’d recruiting sites say?: Four stars by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals. A consensus top-30 tight end in the Class of 2024.
Winners Get Washed: Suave Energizing Sport Body + Face Wash – It just feels like many around the program and in the fan base are energized when talking about Tremble.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Tremble comes from a football family. His dad, Greg, played at Georgia in college and for Dallas, Cleveland and Philadelphia in the NFL. His brother, Tommy, is a tight end for Carolina.
Let’s get a look at ya: The good ol’ Hudl tape.
