2024 stats: Filardi racked up 3,115 passing yards with 43 touchdowns and just three interceptions across 11 games in his senior year with HHHW.
2025 projections: Will likely be on the scout team for at least this season with the Orange, but he made an impression in the Spring.
How’d he get here?: Chose to walk-on to Syracuse football over another offer from Stony Brook, mainly for its lacrosse program (more on that in a second).
What’d recruiting sites say?: No ratings for football, but given four stars and is the 2025 No. 26 overall lacrosse prospect per Inside Lacrosse.

Interesting nugget o’interest: Filardi initially committed to play lacrosse at SU in September 2023, but after blossoming into a quarterback prospect on the gridiron, he expressed interest in playing both for the Orange. Both coaching staffs got together and the plan fell into place, according to 247Sports.
