Buddy Breaking News with the scoop
Another former Syracuse Orange player will be back with Boeheim’s Army for this summer’s TBT.
Shortly after we got news that Jim Boeheim was going to be serving in an advisory role with the team bearing his name, Buddy Boeheim decided to become Buddy Breaking News.
“I told him… We have to do it together.”
Buddy Boeheim (@Buddy_Boeheim35) couldn’t contain his excitement in sharing that his brother Jimmy (@jimmyb_23) plans to join him this summer playing for Boeheim’s Army. pic.twitter.com/Ng82VVnO2K

Jimmy Boeheim play with Boeheim’s Army back in 2023 so he’ll be returning with the hopes of getting the team back to TBT Final Four. Jimmy will be joining Buddy, Elijah Hughes, Rakim Christmas and Chris McCollough as the committed players for this summer. We should get more player announcements in the next couple of weeks, but there should be more Syracuse alums who are ready to don the orange again this summer.
Syracuse is one of the eight host sites for this year’s TBT. The Syracuse Regional portion of the winner-take-all tournament is happening from July 19 to July 23. It will be held at Onondaga Community College’s SRC Arena. Tickets are now on sale.
