Boeheim’s Army vs Team 23: TV/streaming, odds, and info

August 3, 2021 by Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician Leave a Comment

This one really is for all the money.

Teams: Boeheim’s Army (Syracuse Orange Alumni-ish) vs. Team 23

Day & Time: Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 9 PM ET

Location: University of Dayton Arena, Dayton, Ohio

Line: Boeheim’s Army -3.5

TV/Streaming: ESPN and online on WatchESPN

Radio: N/A

Rivalry: While this is the first meeting between the two teams, both feature members from Overseas Elite so think of it like the Syracuse-Cornell games of 2018 and 19.

Current Streak: 0

First/Last Meeting: This is the first meeting between these teams. Just making sure you’re reading this.

Head Coaches: Jeremy Pope – Boeheim’s Army | Marc Hughes- Team 23

Coach Bio: Hughes is TBT’s all-time coaching wins leader. He’s been to the Final Four of TBT for four straight seasons now.

Last Game: Team 23 prevented an All-New York final when they knocked off Blue Collar U 78-62. Tyrese Rice capped a wild game by scoring all of Boeheim’s Army’s points during the Elam Ending period pushing BA to their first title game appearance.

“Fear Me, I’ve Killed Hundreds of Timelords”: Team 23 features a very balanced attack but Walter Lemon, Jr is the type of point guard who has caused Syracuse fans angst over the years. Lemon’s a Bradley alum with plenty of experience and Boeheim’s Army needs to contain him.

If Syracuse Wins: Well there’s that one million dollar cash prize to start but really it would be great to see Tyler Lydon and Eric Devendorf (?) go out as winners.

If Syracuse Loses: It’ll sting to get so close to the title and fall short, but let’s be honest it’s been fun watching some Cardiac Cuse games this summer.

Fun Fact: The Commander-in-Chief of Boeheim’s Army will be in Dayton for this game. Please don’t drink every time ESPN shows him in the crowd.
