WR Elijah Moore banking on a breakout season

Plus, tight end Dalton Kincaid is working on his strength entering his third year in the NFL.

The Buffalo Bills brought in versatile veteran wide receiver Elijah Moore to bolster their receiving corps, adding a former second-round pick who can play both on the boundary and in the slot to provide reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen with another weapon.

While it’s very early in Buffalo’s Organized Team Activities (OTAs), the Bills have to like what they’ve seen so far out of Moore, who during the one practice session open to the media this week showcased his quickness and downfield speed in coming down with a few nice catches from Allen.

Moore turned down a chance to make more guaranteed money from the Cleveland Browns to pursue a better opportunity catching passes from Allen, and today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by hearing from Moore on why he’s confident his bet on himself will pay off with a breakout season.

WR Elijah Moore banking on breakout season

It’s very early in the offseason workout program. News of wide receivers enjoying breakthrough performances at OTAs should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since players aren’t yet wearing pads and the members of the secondary can’t be too physical in coverage.

Still, the news out of OTAs has to be encouraging, as it seems like Moore is quickly acclimating to Buffalo’s offense, flying around the field while displaying terrific speed and footwork. His rapport with Allen seems to be developing rapidly, which could lead to a career season from Moore, a former second-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft who has played with 11 different quarterbacks in his first four seasons in the league.
