The Buffalo Bills saw their 2023 season come to a disappointing end after the team fell 27-24 to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round.
It was yet another painful playoff exit for the Bills, who have failed to live up to the great expectations set for the team since Josh Allen’s emergence as one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
With the season coming to an end, impending free agents like star defensive back Micah Hyde have tough decisions to make. Hyde has been with the Bills for the past seven seasons, but could decide to play for another team or walk away from the game.
Amid the uncertainty on his future, his wife, Amanda, took to social media with a message for fans.
“So Bills Mafia, thank you,” she said in a message on Instagram. “Thank you for making this place our home. Thank you for being so good to us. Thank you for making each season so special. And thank you for making this place so hard to leave. You will always have a piece of our hearts, and man, do we love you guys!”

While it certainly seems like Amanda is saying goodbye to the Bills and their fans, Micah left the door slightly more ajar.
“We’ll see,” Hyde said. “My options are open. I love this organization. I love everything we were able to accomplish. I woke up this morning and I saw the light. I reflected and thought of all the memories we’ve had around here. Yeah, we came up short yesterday, and all that. But that doesn’t take away from all the things we accomplished over the years.”
Will Hyde be back for the 2024 season?
