The Bills face a challenging slate of home games in 2025
The NFL will release the 2025 regular-season schedule on Wednesday, May 14. Some games will be announced Monday and Tuesday but the majority of it will be released Wednesday night. There are plenty of big home games for the Buffalo Bills’ final season at Highmark Stadium. The question is, which one are you most looking forward to?
For me, it’s not the game against the defending Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles, or the now-annual matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. It is not even a game against the past two MVPs with Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens coming to town. I’m most looking forward to what may become a primetime game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The reason for this is due to them being the team that Josh Allen needs to overcome. Allen has shown capable of defeating Patrick Mahomes in the regular season (yes, we know the playoff history). He’s beaten Jackson in the regular season and a couple times in the postseason. What he hasn’t done yet, is finished the job against Joe Burrow.
There was the playoff game a couple of years ago when the Bills got their butts kicked in the snow at home. Then there was the awful Monday Night Football game where Damar Hamlin almost lost his life. Leading up to that injury, the defense was getting walked down the field by the Bengals’ offense. Then in their primetime game two seasons ago, Buffalo once again got it handed to them when Burrow passed for almost 350 yards and two touchdowns.
This team needs to show that they can stop the Bengals because you never know if you are going to see them again in January. Yes, the Bengals were bad last year, but they have a top-tier offense.
