Is there a magic ball to consult for such specific information? Well, there’s history — and the passage of time.
The Buffalo Bills enter the 2025 NFL Draft holding tight to 10 draft picks. In kind, Bills Mafia may likely have to hang on for several hours before getting to hear Buffalo’s first pick announced. That’s of course if the Bills stay put at 30 — foregoing a trade up, or back, and even out of Round 1 altogether.
General manager Brandon Beane has set a precedent over the last seven draft, showing a willingness to move any which way necessary to secure what he and the team see as best fits and opportunities. Will the same hold true this evening?
We’ve well-established that the Bills are slated to pick near the end of the first round, and that those watching the clock should expect an announcement somewhere in the neighborhood of 11:30 p.m. EDT. But what about Buffalo’s other picks in each round?
An important note: The Bills currently have zero picks in Round 3 and Round 7. Yes, that could change, but we won’t know until Buffalo surprises us with an unexpected “on the clock” notice (or a spoiler via social media).
In researching this article, I discovered that no outlet has yet covered draft times past Round 1. That allows us to present you with a unique bit of information to add to your draft tool chest.
Remember, the times listed below are not set in stone, and everything is subject to change during the draft. These are simply my estimates based on the amount of time between picks in each round and when picks unfolded in the past.
Perhaps the only thing more important than time during the NFL Draft, is where and who each team selects. Beane has told us to expect the unexpected. He’s reportedly reached out to at least the Pittsburgh Steelers about swapping picks in Round 1.

- Round 7: Teams have 4 min to make a pick
What time will every Bills pick happen during the 2025 NFL Draft?
