Von Miller is quickly becoming known as two things with the Buffalo Bills.
First, a mentor. He has three young teammates rushing the passer with him in Greg Rousseau, AJ Epenesa and Boogie Basham. The hope is all three of those players can learn as much as they can from the Future Hall of Famer.
That cumulated recently into Miller’s annual “Pass Rush Summit.” All three were in attendance learning from Miller and others around the NFL.
“It was awesome. It was a great experience to be there,” Epenesa said via video conference. “It was really cool to be there, meet a lot of the guys, a lot of the vets that have been around the block a couple of times.”
“They were teaching everything they had in their tool box,” he added.
But secondly, there is Miller the quote machine. In his short time in Buffalo, Miller has already been known for dusting off a good line or two.
Both of these combined during minicamp.
Miller was praising his teammates and described Rousseau as “polishing a diamond.” Miller explained whether it’s Rousseau, Epenesa or anyone, he’s not trying to change their game at all–just improve them.
Check out Miller’s full thoughts with the clip below via WIVB-TV:
