The Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers will play postseason football a day later than scheduled. A severe snowstorm in Western New York pushed the first-round AFC matchup to Monday.
Fans, especially Steelers loyalists, would be forgiven for watching the game under a blanket inside a heated home rather than digging their cars out of an avalanche of snow and driving to Highmark Stadium. Their work isn’t done there, either.
ESPN’s Brooke Pryor shared a video of a family attempting to reach their seats at Orchard Park. The Steelers fans fought their way through an entire row covered in snow.
Here’s a look at the stadium’s seating situation:

Meanwhile, some Bills fans came prepared for the conditions. A fan used cardboard to dig out the snow and create padding for the stadium’s bleacher seats.

A lake snow effect forced the NFL to postpone the game for safety concerns. However, Monday’s matchup won’t be too comfortable for anyone attending.
The Bills asked for help on Monday morning, posting a call for up to 200 people to shovel snow. They offered $20 per hour.
Everyone did a great job preparing the field. A video posted by the NFL doesn’t show any snow in sight on the playing surface.
However, the stands are a different story.
Nobody should expect the weather to stop Bills fans. Clearly undeterred by the winter weather, fans jumped off a pile of snow through a burning table at a tailgate.
Yet it takes devoted Steelers fans to take children into enemy territory to battle the snow and watch a live game on a frigid evening.
The matchup between Buffalo and Pittsburgh kicks off at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
