Highmark Stadium is in better shape than Monday for Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
A major snowstorm prompted the NFL to move Buffalo’s wild-card matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers back a day. While shovelers prepared the playing field for a Bills victory, some seats remained covered in snow.
That won’t be the case for fans heading to Orchard Park today. NFL Network’s James Palmer posted a video of the stands before gates opened Sunday morning.
Fantastic job #BillsMafia . Everyone will be able to sit … which they won’t end up doing anyways 😂. pic.twitter.com/kNt3pjZGis

Yet as Palmer noted, seats at Highmark Stadium are mostly for show. The snow won’t prohibit fans from sitting, but just about every person in the venue will probably stand anyway.
At least they’ll have clearer access to their section. Fans had to fight through a tower or snow piled in the rows of certain spots on Monday.
Those who braved the conditions saw the Bills notch a 31-17 victory over the Steelers. Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and ran for one more.
Highmark Stadium continued to solicit help throughout the week. They accepted shovelers as recently as Saturday, offering $20 per hour.
Everyone appeared to make remarkable progress, as the seats still saw plenty of snow in photos the team posted on Friday.
“It’s a team effort. It’s a community effort. We are so lucky and thankful for Bills Mafia coming out and helping us with the snow shoveling,” Bills vice president of operations and guest experience Andy Major said on Friday, per ESPN’s Alaina Getzenberg.
The snow is clear, but fans and players still face a frigid night in Western New York. There’s a forecast of 20 degrees for the game’s 6:30 p.m. ET start time.
