Troy Aikman won three Super Bowls with the Dallas Cowboys in the 1990s, twice beating the Buffalo Bills in the big game.
So when ESPN ran a graphic last night highlighting the Bills’ historical playoff struggles and inability to win it all, Aikman had an appropriate response.
“I could go a lot of places with that but I’m gonna keep my mouth shut. For some reason, I’m gonna wake up and regret it tomorrow. So I’m not gonna say anything,” Aikman said.

The Bills infamously lost four straight Super Bowls in the early 1990s, all to NFC East opponents.
After dropping a heartbreaker to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXV, Buffalo was soundly beaten by the Washington Redskins the following year before back-to-back blowout losses to Aikman and the Cowboys.
Aikman was the MVP in Dallas’ first Super Bowl victory over the Bills, completing 22-of-30 passes for 273 yards and four touchdowns. He added 207 passing yards and an interception on 19-of-27 passing the following year, as Emmitt Smith carried the Cowboys to back-to-back rings.
With Aikman in the booth last night, the Bills lost 24-22 to the Denver Broncos to fall to 5-5 on the season.
