Tom Brady is finally gone from the AFC East. Thank goodness.

In big part because of this, the Bills might be the favorite in the division. It’d be the first time since 1995 that the Bills won the AFC East title, if that happened to take place.

But before he fully turns the page onto his new chapter with the Tampa Bay Bucs, Brady recalled in an episode of Apple TV+’s Greatness Code which game of his of his two-decade long career was the No.1 on his list.

Of course, naturally, in no surprise… some may say… but Brady mentioned one game against the Bills is exactly this for him. It was Week 11 back in 2007.

“I almost giggle every time I think about that game,” Brady said.

In it, Brady and wide receiver Randy Moss completely smoked Buffalo on primetime.

Brady put together a staggering first half while leading his team to touchdowns on the first seven drives. Brady’s stat line after that sequence was as follows: 31 of 39 for 373 yards with five touchdowns, with four to Randy Moss. The final score was 56-10, the Patriots went to 10-0 on the year while the Bills fell to 5-5.

“Because ever since that game, I’m still trying to get back to that point. Because in so many ways, for me, it was a perfect night.” Brady continued: “I don’t think many people would ever think about that game when they think about my career. I don’t think people would go, ‘Man, that Sunday night Buffalo Bills game, that was the one.’ But for me, when I think about it — and I’ve got this big catalog of games — I think, ‘Yep, that was the one.’”

Just… ouch for the Bills.

But hey, at least Buffalo got the last laugh, kind of. That 2007 season saw the Patriots go 16-0, undefeated, only to lose the Super Bowl to the Giants.

Ouch for the Patriots.
