Jarvis Landry is officially a free agent. The Cleveland Browns released the star wideout just moments ago. Two teams have already emerged as favorites to land him.
Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs are the “teams to watch.” Each has Super Bowl aspirations and clearly wants to improve.

The Cleveland Browns had originally hoped to trade Jarvis Landry. But teams didn’t want to take on his $14 million salary. Now that he’s a free agent, teams can get him on a more team-friendly deal.
The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs met in the AFC Playoffs last season, with the Chiefs getting the upper edge in a thriller. Now, it appears the two contenders are back at it going head-to-head for Landry.
Though his production was down last season, there’s still a belief Landry can be a true No. 1 target. He’s a physical wide receiver with strong hands. He’d be a nice fit in either the Buffalo or Kansas City offenses.
Buffalo has the greater need at the wide receiver position. But the lure of playing with Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce could be tough to turn down for Landry.
Where will the new free-agent wide receiver be playing this upcoming season? It appears Buffalo and Kansas City are the options.
