The Bills reportedly have made another signing. This time it’s a pass rusher. Former Washington Resdkin Trent Murphy.

Murphy was a 2nd round pick in 2014. After starting 23 games in his first two seasons at outside linebacker and recording just 6 sacks, Murphy became a situational pass rusher in 2016. That was a career year for him getting 9 sacks. Looking to build on that last year, Murphy suffered a torn ACL in the Redskins’ first pre-season game.
Murphy was also suspended by the NFL before last season. Four games for violating the league’s performance enhancing drugs policy. Despite being injured, his suspension was technically served last season.
There’s a couple different numbers on his contract to this point. Rapoport has 3-years up to $30 million, Adam Schefter has 3-years $21 million.
