It looks like the Buffalo Bills have their running back room set for the 2018 season. After signing Chris Ivory last week, the Bills are bringing back Travaris Cadet.
Bills’ RB Travaris Cadet, who fractured his leg and dislocated his ankle on Christmas Eve against the Patriots, is returning to Buffalo on a one-year deal, per source. Cadet has made an impressive recovery and already is running at full speed. Now, back to Buffalo.

As Schefter mentions, Cadet suffered a gruesome injury against the Patriots late in the season. For him to be running at full speed already seems pretty remarkable.
Prior to getting injured, Cadet provided the Bills with some speed and catching ability they weren’t getting from Mike Tolbert. Cadet was signed on November 4th, and played in six games with the Bills. In limited touches Cadet did well spelling LeSean McCoy. On 35 touches he produced 196 yards for the Bills.
Cadet and Chris Ivory were teammates in 2012 with the New Orleans Saints. What they did then is likely what the Bills would be looking for now. Cadet providing some flare in the pass game, and Ivory focusing on short yardage and between the tackles running. Both backs are 29 years old, as is LeSean McCoy. That’ll likely make the Bills the oldest team in the league at running back, assuming all make three are on the 53-man roster at the start of the year.
