The Buffalo Bills are reportedly cutting a veteran offensive lineman.
Per Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com, veteran guard Jon Feliciano is being released. Parrino is also reporting that the team hoped he would take a pay cut, but he wasn’t interested in that.
Feliciano is now going to hit the open market and will have numerous suitors.
Source: #Bills releasing veteran guard Jon Feliciano. I’m told the team approached him hoping he’d be willing to take a pay cut. He wasn’t and now he’ll hit the open market, something he avoided last year by re-signing right before free agency.

This move is going to save the Bills a little over $3M in cap space.
Before Feliciano was cut, he was getting ready to go into the second year of a three-year deal that he signed last March.
He spent three seasons with the Bills and played both guard positions, plus center. He started in 15 total games during the last two seasons in Buffalo and it could’ve been more if not for some injury problems.
In 2021, he missed some time due to a calf strain he suffered in early November. In 2020, it was a pectoral muscle injury that kept him sidelined.
