Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was a surprise addition to the team’s injury report on Friday as he came down with a back injury. With a can’t-lose game against the Denver Broncos coming up on Monday, will he be healthy enough to play?
Judging by Diggs’ own words, the answer is an emphatic “Yes.” Per ESPN Bills reporter Alaina Getzenberg, Diggs said that he is “100-percent” ready to go on Monday.
Diggs said that the decision to sit out on Friday’s practice was more out of an excess of caution than any inability to participate.
“WR Stefon Diggs said “100%” when asked if it’s his expectation to play on Monday. He said that being limited in practice yesterday and sitting out today was more proactive than reactive,” Getzenberg wrote on X.
“Diggs described it as a little bit of maintenance and said that the back injury was something that lingered from the game vs. the Bengals.”

Stefon Diggs leads the Buffalo Bills in receptions, yards and touchdowns. He makes up about one-third of the Bills’ entire passing offense right now.
Suffice it to say, that’s a player the Bills can’t afford to lose for any game, let alone a primetime game.
