Stefon Diggs posted a farewell to the Buffalo Bills after getting traded to the Houston Texans.
Buffalo sent the star wide receiver and two late draft picks to Houston for the Minnesota Vikings’ 2025 second-round pick. Later that evening, Diggs wrote a message to Bills Mafia on Instagram.
“I can’t begin to express the amount of love and respect I have for the city of Buffalo,” Diggs wrote. “Four of the best years of my life, the city welcomed me with open arms. I’m forever grateful for you all and the Buffalo Bills organization.”
The Bills acquired Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings in 2020. He exceeded 100 catches and 1,000 receiving yards in all four Pro Bowl seasons.
Diggs led the NFL in receptions (445) during his Bills tenure while tallying the fourth-most receiving yards behind Tyreek Hill, Justin Jefferson, and Davante Adams. Buffalo, which hadn’t captured an AFC East title since 1995 before his arrival, won the division with a top-five offense each year.
The 30-year-old now has a chance to help Houston make a similar leap to perennial contention alongside C.J. Stroud. Diggs will join Nico Collins and Tank Dell on an explosive Texans offense that also added Joe Mixon this offseason.
Diggs and the Bills got ousted in three consecutive AFC Divisional Round games, but he’ll still fondly remember his time at Buffalo.
“Something special was built over these years with some very special men, that will always have a place in my heart,” Diggs said. “Billsmafia, so many great memories created throughout the years. Those games were crazy because of you. Sadly good things come to an end.”
